Marco Zanni: class 88’ born and raised in a beautiful city on the beach in Italy. After 2 years of university in Italy, I spent 1 year in Madrid, Spain, as an Erasmus student. Probably the best year of my life. After my graduation I decided to take 1 year off..and I went to Brazil for 5 months to do an internship in the marketing area for a non-profit organization, to learn Portuguese and understand what  I really wanted to do in my life.

When I was in São Paulo I applied for a marketing master programme in Lund, Sweden, because the reputation of the Swedish school system is great and I wanted to experience the life in such cold and different country compared to Italy, Spain and Brazil. I’m pretty satisfied with the master but I still don’t know what to do after that..travelling, working, Italy, abroad?? It’s a question that almost every guy of my age asks himself/herself..and maybe the answer is to follow your own interests and find a positive side of everything you do! In this way, you will be always happy!

Aneta Kiankova: When we started this blog I knew that I will find all my inspirational ideas in my past and present international experiences, from the great people I’ve met in my life and from sharing these ideas with the world :) Maybe high expectations, but every reader counts.

I come from a culturally rich country, the Czech Republic, from a suburb of the most beautiful capital of the world, Prague. My international journey starts in my half Czech/half Slovak roots and continues with my educational experience. During the studies on a secondary school I was very much influenced by arts. I finished a basic school of arts and then changed grammar schools - bigger city, more international class. After the high-school graduation I started the bachelor studies in Birmingham, England. I had the amazing and life-changing opportnity to participate on an Erasmus exchange. I did the year abroad in Vienna, Austria. Well, after experiencing Vienna it was a clear choice to continue my international profile development. I decided to apply for master studies in Sweden. I got in and I’m living the best part of my life. Who would guess so after the unforgetable time in Vienna? The life lesson is that your chances are always improving, just stay positive and believe in yourself!

Ruslan Krastev: Born and raised in the most beautiful city in Bulgaria - Varna. Lived for 4 years in the Netherlands while obtaining my Bachelor’s degree, spent 5 months in Belgium as an exchange student and currently working towards Master’s degree in Sweden.

Martin Lüdecke: I grew up and live in Nuremberg, Germany. I went to school here, did my Bachelor’s degree and now doing my Master’s degrees in Information Systems in Nuremberg. Moreover I gained practical experiences while working for 4 different companies from healthcare to logistics. So why I did not study abroad earlier? I love my hometown, my family and friends live here and it just feels like home.

I was kind of afraid leaving for an exchange semester. Sure I like travelling and during the last five years I visited nine European countries. But leaving home for several month is different than a holiday trip. But it took only 3 weeks and now it feels like home here, too. So besides all work and studies, all exams and challenges in your life, go out, explore the world and meet new friends.
