The motto for the New Year

The motto for the New Year

I should be happy that I am still joung and healthy. Save complain, just do it!

Probably everyone remembers our contest “Win a holiday in Italy” that we launched last February. Participants had to post an inspirational video, picture or article in order to have the chance to win a holiday in Italy for 5 days for 2 persons at my place (Marco, one of the bloggers).

Asta from Lithuania won the contest with her article “Your choose”, receiving 104 Facebook likes and 141 thumbs up and last week she got what she deserved…

…a beautiful holiday in San Benedetto del Tronto, on the beach in Italy!

Together with her friend, Donata, she spent 5 days (17-22 June) in my place and as demonstration we post below some pictures taken during those 5 days.

It has been a great week where the common young spirit of enjoying life prevailed, where Italian and Lithuanian cultures mixed together, in a learning and inspiring process.

Asta and Donata learned the Italian way of living, the Italian style of wearing and cooking and noticed pros and cons of living on a beach city in Italy. On the other hand my friends and I got to know the Lithuanian way of thinking and interesting facts and data about the Baltic country. We learned some Lithuanian words and tried the typical fresh pink soup (Saltibarciai).

It has been a great experience that leads us to advise you to travel, to share and inspire because as Asta says: “Sharing is caring”.
